I have lived in this city for over thirty years and it just keeps getting better and better. My first trek up Ocean Drive showed elderly people snoozing in rocking chairs. Wow! Has it ever changed! Now there are people of all ages and styles lounging in the cafes, walking the boardwalk, rollerblading, biking, you name it! It is sunny everyday here. I love the fact that I can stop for a cup of coffee and be standing behind Hulk Hogan! Order lunch at Epicure and sit next to David Caruso! I can’t even fathom what could happen if I actually humg out at all the “cool” spots around town. Every day holds many wonderful surprises!
One thing that bothers me somewhat is that we are constantly lumped with the city of Miami. Not that Miami isnt a great city also but when it comes to Real Estate sales there is very little to compare. We don’t have over 50,000 new condos coming on line in the next 2 years. We have beautiful infrastructure in place. We have pristeen beaches. We have shopping that is out of this world and technically within walking distance. We have the rich and famous who want to live here and are buying here everyday. Buying and selling of real estate has slowed here over the summer but it still is happening at a decent rate. Sellers are not being crazy about their asking prices which is great.
An amazing phenomenon is creeping in a big way to the profession of Real Estate and in my mind is long overdue. I train all the realtors in the South Beach Investment Realty’s 3 offices and we always have stressed professionalism and service which, to be honest I consider that a duh! Any one who is at the top of their business does exactly that, Right? Since we hold to this, any customer who engages in a real estate transaction with South Beach Investment Realty feels great about referring us to their friends, relatives, and acquaintences. We appreciate your referrals.
